UNESCO’s Memory of the World program witness the richness and diversity of the historical record of human civilization. In order to preserve and promote this important world heritage, UNESCO recently added three symbols of Indian literature to its Asia-Pacific list: Ramcharitmanas, Panchatantra and Sahrdayaloka-Locana.
